Alisa Lapidus


Alisa Lapidus will participate in a group show running July 13-Aug. 3, 2024 with additional participation in our January 2024 preview “INTRODUCTIONS” group show. Come meet the artist Jan. 13, 2024 at an opening reception.

Alisa will participate in a July group show entitled:

"Women Painting Women"

The show will address the complexities in the intersecting role of women by examining themes of female archetypes through nature, consumption, self preservation, autonomy and ancestral roots.

Alisa Lapidus is a multimedia artist with a practice ranging from video and animation, to painting, and illustration. Her video designs have been featured in numerous productions at the Los Angeles Opera, and her ongoing interest in interdisciplinary collaboration has led to commissions for video and multimedia works for the Dana Point Symphony, LA Grand Ensemble, UCLA, Angeleno Magazine Food Festival, and the Park Avenue Armory for the 7th Annual Star Chefs event.

Born in Nizhni Novgorod, Russia, Alisa immigrated to the United States with her family at the age of 7. She received her BFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts. She happily resides in Los Angeles with her husband, a son, baby daughter, and 2 cats.
